St.
John, one of three major islands that make up the U.S. Virgins, must be reached
by flying into St. Thomas and then taking a 20 minute ferry ride over. It
is the home of the Virgin Islands National Park, Caneel Bay Resort, The Westin,
and Rudy & Irene Patton (since 1971 in the Virgins and since 1973 in business on
St. John).
